This course will cover the history of extraction methods and give tips on how to best extract coffee at home. The instructor will offer technical practice for workshop participants with tastings of 2 coffees, of different origins, and a description of factors which influence the aroma and taste profile of coffee. Jessica Sartiani is a highly passionate and skilled barista and coffee lover. She won third place at The Specialty Coffee Brewing Cup three years in a row. Besides these trophies she also has a Scaa Certificate and a Coffee Science Certificate, the latter sponsored by La Nuova Simonelli. She partners with many roasters and coffee equipment companies such as La Marzocco, Ditta Artigianale, Kalita, D612 Coffee Roaster, and organizes free coffee meetings to spread coffee culture.
